SARAH VARGO BIO 

Sarah  Vargo developed her own style after working at some of the nation’s top talent agencies and promotional companies. She worked her way through the ranks of International Creative Management (ICM) whose prestigious clients include Jay Leno and Chris Rock. After gaining experience at ICM as an assistant to a talent agent in the Concerts Department, she worked for boutique agencies where she was able to put her skills to test through talent buying, concert promotion and media planning.

 

As the Marketing Director of Le Passage, she worked closely with Rockit Ranch Productions who currently own and operate The Underground, Rockit Bar and Grill, Sunda and Dragon Ranch. She coordinated fashion shows, charity events, sponsorships, and created trendy concepts and ideas. Sarah was a contributor to the NBC 5 Street Team and was the Promotions Director for “24/7 Chicago,” an entertainment show on NBC. She has led regional influencer programs with national companies Ammo Marketing and Grow Marketing, and completed two Chambord industry programs as the Chicago Brand Ambassador.

Projects with Maven include events with Emperor’s New Clothes, Chicago Social, Today’s Chicago Women, NBC 5 and TV stars from Bravo and MTV. One of her favorite projects is the Diva and Divo Series – a popular and established networking event that honors dynamic women/men in Media, PR, Fitness, Fashion, Sports, Business, Beauty, Culinary Arts and much more. No stranger to the microphone, Sarah enjoys emceeing events and hosted the Authenticity Game Show Party, Well-Being Expo and Launch of Butterfly Kiss Wine with Diageo. Chicago Magazine named Sarah as one of the five “Top Nightlifers” in 2009 and the RedEye has often recognized her as a “VIP socialite in the know. Sarah is also listed on Haute Chicago as an influencer and her events have had coverage in Today’s Chicago Woman, Yahoo, ChicagoNow.com, Chicago Magazine and more. She also was selected as one of Chicago’s Top Social Media Influencers by All Terrain and Chevy Sonic and tied for first place in a social media competition for charity. In November 2013, Sarah was honored for her blog StargoLove.com at "She Writes" presented by My Three Sisters Publishing.

 

Sarah has a passion for philanthropy and a determination to help others. She was on the Advisory Council for Every Picture Has a Story and has helped One Hope United, Aparecio Foundation, Cabrini Connections, Imerman Angels, Big Brothers Big Sisters, EcoChallenge2020.org, Northwestern Hospital Board Auxiliary and Children’s Memorial Hospital. Sarah was also on the planning committee for the 20th Annual Celebrity Chef Gala benefiting Meals on Wheels. She also received an Advocacy Award from One Hope United in 2011 and was nominated as a hero in General Motor’s Hometown Heroes contest in February 2012. Sarah was on the Executive Board for One Hope United’s “Eras of Hope” event commemorating Child Abuse Prevention Month in April.  She contributes to FELIX Magazine, a resource for the latest trends in fashion, fine dining, nightlife, arts and culture.  She wrote a light-hearted book called “Life Is Your Party...With A Little Pixie Dust” where she compares party planning to life and shares her experiences from a party planner to holistic healer and life cheerleader.  Sarah was recognized by the Beauty In Beauty Out Tour, a national movement honoring women and was presented with the Reflection Award 2014 for Cause Excellence. 

Sarah loves dance fitness and is currently teaching Zumba, Bollywood Dance and MIXXEDFIT and is currently getting her AFAA certification for Group Fitness. As she is passionate about helping women love themselves, she also is trained in CRYOSKIN and works at Cryoslim and Tone in Barrington, Illinois. Going back to her music entertainment and concerts beginnings, she is honored to be the publicist for Grammy-nominated and internationally acclaimed Liverpool Legends "The Complete Beatles Experience."
